It was another typical late January day here in Southern New England. Not much will change as we head through this last weekend of January. Temperatures will come up a bit on Sunday and early next week but so will the wind. We MAY see some snow showers Sunday afternoon and again Wednesday afternoon with an Arctic front, but that’s it–no big snowstorms in sight. Tonight: Mostly clear. Very cold. Lows near ZERO northern CT. to 10-15 along the beaches.
Saturday: Lots of sunshine, seasonably chilly. Highs in the low 30s.
Sunday: More clouds than sun, breezy with a passing snow shower possible. Highs in the upper 30s, near 40°.
Monday: Mostly sunny, breezy with highs in the mid-upper 30s.
Tuesday: Sun and clouds, windy with highs in the mid-upper 30s.
Wednesday: Colder with more clouds. Watching for evening snow squalls. Highs in the low 30s.
Thursday: Bright, windy, and bitterly cold. Highs in the teens to low 20s. Wind chill all day in the single digits!
