Iran intends to continue its anti-Israel policy unchanged, but to proceed with caution, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the nation’s supreme leader, said in a closely watched address during Friday prayers in Tehran.
He described Iran’s two rocket attacks on Israel, in April and on Tuesday evening, as “minimal punishment for the Zionist regime” and a legitimate response.
“If necessary, we will repeat this in the future,” he said.
Khamenei spoke of a Lebanese and Palestinian resistance front that has every right to defend itself against Israeli war crimes. He said that this should not be questioned by world powers or international organizations.
