Harris and Trump’s economic proposals
Vice President and presidential candidate Kamala Harris is expected to unveil her economic agenda today, capping off a week in which opponent Donald Trump spoke twice about his own economic views.
Harris’s speech: She’s expected to support a federal ban on “corporate price gouging” on food and groceries and a plan to provide up to $25,000 in down payment support for first-time homebuyers. [ABC News]

Alexandrea: I’d have to say New Smyrna Beach in Florida! This laid-back beach town has few crowds, drivable beaches and amazing kayaking with manatees at Cape Canaveral.
Anthony: What about if I’m looking for a romantic getaway?
Alexandrea: My husband and I loved our romantic getaway to Hilton Head, S.C. Not only was it super-relaxing, but the scenery was stunning, the fine dining was exquisite and there were couples adventures.
Anthony: Do you know of any family-friendly destinations?
Alexandrea: I certainly do! North Carolina’s Brunswick Islands offer clean beaches, colorful vacation rentals and plenty of activities for kids — no high-rises or party scenes here!
