The official lows over the last 3 days (-5 Tuesday, -7 Wednesday, -2 Thursday) have been the coldest morning lows in years! We now see the arctic air moderating and conditions for the weekend will remain cold, but not as extreme.
Friday starts in the teens before warming near 30 by the afternoon. There is no rain, snow or strong winds in the forecast Friday through the weekend. So if you can tolerate chilly conditions, the weekend weather will be quiet for outdoor activities.
A look ahead to the last week of January shows a return to seasonable temperatures and no big rain or snow storms at this time.
